So much has happened in the past almost year. Not so much weaving, quilting or embroidery as life changes & location changes. That doesn't mean I'm any less alone; it just means I know where I am. The choices of where I'm heading are all mine.
My new house is in Erie, PA & agrees with me & the cats. Julia adjusted faster than Jaspurr & seems sometimes more friendly. No one has been scratched just yet. Recent renovations (bathroom) sent him off hiding again. Julia sits in the middle of the floor & watches as people have to walk around her.
The house is from 1920, with a real garage, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a sunroom & re-modeled kitchen. I've needed to learn how to cook with gas. Things have burned, but water does still boil. Before moving in (July13,2012) the basement was painted, wood floors re-finished & some rooms re-painted. I've found the walls (plaster) are as hard as cement & its been a struggle hanging things.
